Description
In the third part of this 6 part serial novel, Rory and Dawn begin to understand something of the power of the Slobberers disease. They learn that this is passed on by humans to animals and Rory and Dawn’s mum have the disease. Rory, Dawn, Dawn’s dad and Rory’s mum escape steel wool sheep and a plague of frogs but the adults still won’t take the Slobberer threat seriously. Dawn and Rory are sure that Rory’s dad is somehow involved and set out to follow a Slobberer-infected snail to find him. The book has a cliff-hanger ending as they’re lead to a tree and Rory looks up to see his double looking down at him.
